Welcome to special occasions. Our wonderful dining room can be transformed into a function room. If you wish to celebrate a birthday, wedding, christening, anniversary, promotion, leaving do or just to have a good party, this is the place to come. Invite all your friends and family, you wont be disappointed.
We can seat up to 36 people or supply a buffet for up to 50.
For larger parties and family occassions may we suggest our 3 course menu at £10.90 a head. Only 24 hours notice required to book.
For starters there is a choice of:
A fresh homemade soup
Our own chicken liver pate
Fan of melon with blackcurrent sauce
or a prawn cocktail (£1.50 extra)
For mains we offer:
Roast beef, chicken or turkey.
All served with a fine selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes.
For dessert we offer some choices on the day.
For parties 20 and over 48 hours notice required.
Here are some other choices:
A light tea at £5.50 per head with assorted filled sandwiches, sausages, quiche, sausage rolls, various cakes and sweet biscuits. All is served with tea and coffee.
A finger buffet at £6.20 a head with assorted filled sandwiches, sausage rolls, various quiches, sausages and dips, roasted chicken pieces, garlic bread and scotch eggs.
A fuller buffet at £7.80 a head with assorted filled sandwiches, sausage rolls, various quiches, sausages and dips, garlic bread, scotch eggs, roast chicken pieces, pizza wedges, cheese and biscuits, melon, savoury pie, crudities and snacks.
Many of our locals enoy a good knees up, you can too. If you wish to book or bring your own D.J just let us know when you phone up to book or ask us to do it for you.
